Audiology – Communication Research (ISSN 1982-0232) announces that its editorial policies, as well as the guidelines for authors, reviewers, and section editors, will undergo a process of review and updating.

This initiative aims to align the journal's editorial practices with the principles of Open Science and international best practices in scholarly publishing, in keeping with its open-access status.

The editorial team will keep the community informed of the progress of this process and will announce the implemented updates in due course.
